That is true in many cases, but sometimes it can be very helpful to explain what code is doing.

For example, when I learned PHP I had a hard time remembering the meaning of % (modulus) and added the explanation &lt;q&gt;remainder of division&lt;/q&gt; every time I used modulus for a while until I know the explanation by heart.

I think the best approach is to simply add all comments you find helpful.</description>
